Why it was time to MOVE ON!

Today, I come to you with a mix of emotions as I do want to give a little light as to why I left my previous makeup and skincare company. It's not easy to say goodbye, especially when reflecting on the multitude of experiences and challenges that have shaped my time here. Yet, as I embark on a new chapter in my career, I feel compelled to share the reasons behind my decision to leave, as many of you have asked!

I always want to be as transparent as possible, I owe that to you and myself. Change, they say, is inevitable. However, the recent transition in leadership within the corporation brought about a significant shift in the company's culture and direction. While change can often be a catalyst for growth, the abrupt nature of these shifts left many of us feeling unsettled and uncertain about the company's future trajectory.

Let's talk about the money! As an integral part of the team, I've always believed in the principle of fair compensation for hard work and dedication. Unfortunately, recent alterations to the compensation plan failed to align with this principle. These changes not only impacted morale but also raised concerns about the company's commitment to valuing its employees' contributions. If you were at the top, your pay was great...but your team--Not so much.

Additionally, one of the aspects of my past company that initially drew me in was its dedication to social responsibility through its non-profit division, helping abused women and children. However, recent shifts in focus and resources away from these initiatives left me questioning the company's commitment to making a positive impact beyond profits.

Lastly, I want to speak on the quality of products and affordability: At the heart of any successful company lies the quality of its products or services. While my past company has always prided itself on delivering excellence, recent compromises in product quality coupled with rising costs have raised concerns among both employees and customers alike. Balancing quality with affordability is crucial for maintaining customer loyalty and trust.

Let's throw in Covid and my morality to ask people to spend $50 on mascara.. NOPE, No thanks!

Shesshhh... Now that I got that off my chest, go check out the next Blog Post on my NEW COMPANY!!
