I will say that my “business career” really took off when I started with my network marketing “hobby”. This was when I really got a taste of what I could do, KNEW I WAS GOOD at it, and became wildly successful in a short amount of time.

Well…

It’s not having the best product.

It’s not joining the best company.

And it’s NOT about being an expert, having the most followers, or creating the most creative content.

Why?

Because when you build a personal brand using social media? Your audience isn’t buying your products. And they’re not buying your business opportunity.

They’re buying YOU.

In other words…

I’m NOT in the hospitality, sales, or whatever “niche” business you want to call it…

I’m in the “Lindsey Elton ” business!

Because people buy from people and brands they Know, Like & Trust.

So it’s not just about having a good product (of course, you need that too).

This is why a tech company like Apple could start a clothing brand or a perfume line if they wanted to…

And their fans would still BUY LIKE CRAZY!

Their brand is that strong.

Point being…

This is why I always say you should focus on building YOUR brand. And one way you can do that is by becoming a LEADER who:

* Stands for something…

* Shares their values

* And genuinely cares about their audience
